Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, was regarded as the first day of the traditional Christmas shopping season, on which retailers offer special reduced prices. In the past few years websites begin offering their deals weeks before Black Friday which sort of takes the hype out of Cyber Monday--created by marketing companies to persuade people to shop online.
